Once you are TRULY Saved you have the Seal of the Holy Spirit FOREVER!
I have been a follower of Wayne Levi and a participant in the chat room for over a year. Wayne Levi does a great job preaching repentance, BUT the next step must be taken:
The INWARD baptism of the Holy Spirit!!
Regarding Hebrews 6:4-6:
If you still believe you can lose your free GIFT of eternal salvation, the fact is, you have not FULLY TRUSTED and accepted Jesus’s FINISHED work on the cross. Until you FULLY TRUST in the eternal seal of the Holy Spirit, by believing in the ONLY acceptable work by God, your repentance (works) are dead works.
The OUTWARD baptism of water, through repentance, is the initiating seal of the covenant of grace, engaging the baptized person to begin learning the new covenant.
The INWARD baptism, or the sprinkling of the blood of Christ on the soul, sanctifies that TRUE Christian FOREVER!!! An INWARD baptism of the seal of the Holy Spirit cannot be undone or repeated.
In Hebrews 6:4-6, Paul shows how far a person can go and still fall away. Although they were enlightened, tasted, and partook of the heavenly gifts of the Holy Spirit, and maybe cast out demons in the name of Jesus, or performed other great works (like Judas), they never had TRUE saving grace.(like Judas) Here is the kicker: The people Paul speaks of are those who fall away, he doesn’t say these were TRULY converted souls, or that they had the inward baptism of the Holy Spirit!!(just like Judas never recieved The Comforter) He is NOT saying those with the Seal of the Holy Spirit can lose their salvation!! True saints can fall into sin, but they can never fully fall away from God! The promise of the everlasting gospel and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is their ETERNAL SECURITY. The moment a TRUE Christian believes Jesus did all the work needed for salvation, that soul becomes a purchased possession of God. Once Saved Always Saved is not a false gospel teaching! It’s exactly what the true gospel message states!! It is more rightly coined: Once Inwardly Baptized by the Holy Spirit, Forever Saved from Spiritual Death. This does not mean it is a license to sin, as a TRULY converted Christian has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which convicts them! You can grieve the Holy Spirit, and lose rewards and treasures in heaven which are terrible eternal losses, but you will not lose your GIFT of eternal salvation. A gift is just that, not requiring payment. If you think you must continue doing works and payment for your salvation, the YOU have become YOUR OWN SAVIOR and not JESUS CHRIST!
I love you all and I am just trying to get everyone to TRUST in the FINISHED WORK OF JESUS for their salvation not your continuing works to prove your faith.
FIRST YOU MUST TRUST THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS ON THE CROSS, THEN YOUR FATH (SALVATION), WILL PRODUCE GOOD FRUITS (WORKS), NOT YOUR GOOD FRUITS (WORKS) PRODUCE FAITH (SALVATION). DON’T PUT SALVATION IN YOUR HANDS AND BECOME YOUR OWN SAVIOR !!!!
